Maritime

As one of the oldest branches of law, MARITIME law, also known in some countries as admiralty law. Maritime law itself is defined as “law relating to commerce and navigation on the high seas and other navigable waters.”

Maritime law generally encompasses both local laws and US laws as well as international laws. These laws establish the rules that govern torts, injuries, contracts, and any type of crime that occurs near a navigable body of water, in a navigable body of water, or in a navigable body of water.
